The king also thirsted for Love

The king also thirsted for
Love,
And if it were not for his
Great
Thirst
Would not have sewn
King’s clothing
Made of snakeskin
Whispering together
Lined with mongoose fur
Dodging
And decorated with gold and precious stones,
And would not have built
A high throne
Upon which all will gaze
On their retiring
And rising,
And his loudly shouting voice would not have
Echoed
Also In his absence also
Beyond the walls of his home,
Which if it were not for
His thirst for love
Would not have destroyed
The homes of his citizens
For the sake of a bit of pity.

And the oceans are full
And the seas are open
And the rivers are flowing
And from the springs well forth
Sweet water.
