and Abraham, the father of the Jewish people, so also today the covenant
between GOD and any individual inherently embodies both worship and
fear of GOD. This picture represents precisely such a solemn moment
and incorporates all the fear and love that exist between man and his maker.


60 leading contemporary Israeli photographers
on Israel's 60th anniversary

                    INSIDE ISRAEL is an art initiative produced by Ms. Iris Elhanani. Its aim is to create
                    a network of exhibition spaces which exposes Israeli Art all over the world.

                    The INSIDE ISRAEL exhibition presents 180 art works of leading Israeli artists.
                    It contains a unique variety of photographs displaying contemporary Israel, landscapes
                    and nature, modern-day lifestyles in Israel, Judaism, ethnic groups, architecture,
                    as well as expressive artistic photographs prevalent in the Israeli photography scene.

                    From Dec 2008 and throughout the year of 2009, the Inside Israel exhibition
                    will travel around China.

                    The first exhibition will be displayed in the city of Chongqing , ( ...more ... ) at the
                    China Three Gorges Museum . The opening of the exhibition will be on
                    December 12th, 2008. There will be a huge opening, at 14:00 with the
                    Israeli Ambassador very formal and very big.

                    After Chongqing the exhibition will move to the city of Harbin and will be
                    exhibited to the public during the International Ice and Snow Festival.
                    Later in Shanjhai (Shanghai) and Beijing.

                    The project is produced with the help of the China-Israel Friendship Society
                    and The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries in
                    collaboration with The China Three Gorges Museum.

                    The exhibition was curated jointly by Mr. Yang Chaupang from
                    the China Three Gorges Museum and Ms. Esther Dollinger and Mr. Doron Pollack
                    and Ms. Iris Elhanani from Israel.

                    Prominent leading artists along with young artists are participating in this project;
                    coming from all levels of Israeli society and from all over Israel.
